In my experience working in multidisciplinary sports medicine settings with primary care doctors and orthopedic surgeons, I’ve come to understand some of the reasons many medical doctors approach the practice of chiropractic with some skepticism. The most common reasons appear to be:
Many physicians have never interacted with an evidence-based chiropractor
Many physicians are unfamiliar with the scope of chiropractic training
There is great disparity within the chiropractic profession and no way to predict from one chiropractor to the next, what kind of treatment patients could expect
We are dedicated to providing educational programs to the medical community regarding the practice of modern chiropractic, and how we can best collaborate in an integrative health care environment for the benefit of those we serve. We welcome the opportunity to answer questions and discuss patient care through the following venues:
In-Services
30 minute lunch & learn in your office for both the doctor and staff
Observe patient care in our practice
If you would like to schedule an in service, lunch & learn or an appointment to observe in our center, please e-mail Dr. Viteritti directly at docpete@snet.net
